the Sumerian texts say the aliens made us by mixing their dna with ours.

perhaps that is why some religions think creation was so recent?

they are just referring to the creation / genetic engineering of man and not the earth?

I have always thought the bible was proof of science - just written for a 5 yr old

seriously how would you explain genetic creation / engineering to someone back then?

as the scientific jabber would not make any sense to an uneducated person but

god used a rib from adam to make eve - is understandable - maybe even correct in that a rib was used to get the DNA

    anyway gotta love the onion.

    :)

      *sigh*

Give them a few hundred years and their "scholars" will probably treat this as fact....

"These two people made in his image do not know how to communicate, lack skills in both mathematics and farming, and have the intellectual capacity of an infant," one Sumerian philosopher wrote. "They must be the creation of a complete idiot."

And so the World as we know it, Began.........

And thus created the species we today know as "career politicians". And they still have not evolved to anything much better, which very well may dis-prove some of the Theory Of Evolution. Thanks to the Onion we now have some answers. LOL ;)(sarcasm intended)
